Happy Tuesday

YTS Parents,

We start our indoor sessions this week at Netsports (Wed U9's and Thurs U10's). My goal is to start our indoor sessions as close to 4.15pm as possible. We understand that some of you may end up being late. When the players arrive please have them find their group. Please make sure your child brings indoor shoes. We will be on the indoor sport courts and cleats will not work.

I look forward to seeing the players this week!

Thanks

Happy Wednesday

YTS Parents,

I hope you all had an enjoyable Thanksgiving. It is hard to believe today is December 1st. Below are some updates to help with your planing.

1. We start with our two training sessions a week the week of December 6th. Please remember to dress your child appropriately for our outdoor sessions.

2. Monkey Joe's dates are set - look on blog calender. This is just a fun night for the kids. There will be no charge to attend. I understand if your son/daughter cannot attend due to a conflict.

3. Each player will receive an evaluation from his/her coach. The evaluation is almost like a grade report from school. The coaches will be working on these over the next couple of weeks. It will give you an idea of your son/daughter's strengths/weaknesses. I have encouraged the coaches to be very honest with the evals.

4. For the spring our first weekend of league games (NCCL) is scheduled for March 6th. Format will be similar to the fall in that we play games on Sunday afternoons. There will be no games on April 24th (Easter Sunday).

5. On Saturday March 26th we will be hosting teams from TCYSA (Winston-Salem, NC). A select group of players will play games on this Saturday. The schedule is still TBA.

6. We are still planning on having our teams attend the adidas festival hosted by CESA (Greenville, SC). The dates are set for May 7-8th. Several of our coaches have classic teams that will be playing in State Cup the same weekend so we will continue to monitor the situation. I'd like for our teams to attend.

I look forward to seeing all of the kids next week.
