Player Evaluations

YTS Familes,

The coaches will be handing out player evaluations next week during our training sessions. These evaluations are written and fairly concise. I have encouraged the coaches to be honest and constructive with regards to the evaluations they complete. I feel it is important to provide feedback/insight in terms of where a player stands, how are they doing overall etc. Please understand your child will have deficiencies. Part of growing as a young soccer player is to work to improve deficiencies once they have been identified.

I elected to have the coaches do the evaluations after the holidays so the information is fresh as we start the spring season. Had we completed the evaluations prior to the holidays they would have been pushed to the side with everything going, which is completely understandable. You can contact your coach directly if you have questions about the evaluation they complete.
